Dr.
Huntoon is a board-certified neurologist (American Board of Psychiatry
and Neurology) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology. He
has been in solo private practice since 1986 and his current practice,
Private Neurology, is in Derby, New York, near the Canadian border. See

practice that does not allow any HMO or government interference in its
patients’ medical care.
Dr. Huntoon has an M.D. degree and a
Ph.D. in physiology with specific training in the area of
neurophysiology and electrophysiology. He is also trained as a medical
research scientist with research experience relating to brain
structures involved in Parkinson's Disease. He completed his residency
training at the Dent Neurologic Institute in Buffalo, New York, and has
taught medical residents, medical students, nurses, physical therapists
and occupational therapists.
He is the former president of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS)
and
currently serves on its board of directors. The author of numerous
articles in professional journals, Dr. Huntoon has lectured on a
variety of topics across the United States about preserving the
patient-doctor relationship and other important issues affecting the
practice of medicine in America today. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the
Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons (www.jpands.org).
