Dr. Eck is a practicing physician and board certified in Family Practice who currently works in a multi-specialty private practice with three other physicians. With his wife, Alieta Eck, MD,  he developed and founded Zaraphath Health Care Center in Zaraphath, NJ.  The center serves the poor, uninsured and under-insured, relying on volunteer physicians, nurses and other support personnel. Dr. Eck has traveled to Peru, Ecuador and India on medical mission trips, doing primary care. He spent 18 months in 2005-2006 traveling to and exploring the opportunities of establishing medical tourism on the Caribbean island of Antigua, working on a business plan and making a presentation to the prime minister and cabinet.

Dr. Eck is a BS graduate of Rutgers College of Pharmacy, Piscataway, NJ.
He graduated with an MD from the St. Louis University School of Medicine and did his General Surgery residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ, New Brunswick, and did his Family Practice residency at St. Peter’s University Hospital, NJ. He was board certified in Family Practice in 1988.

Dr. Eck is a member of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, and the Christian Medical Association.
